I am concerned about the aging well-qualified legal professionals who can't find work because of high unemployment rates and age discrimination. Employers are hiring younger employees with no experience and are paying them less than what we older workers worked for years to achieve.

This is a problem throughout the working world, I'm afraid, and not only in the legal profession. :(
And I read in Sunday's paper that attorneys graduating from law school and passing the bar are having a lot of trouble finding jobs. But then, Mississippi still leads the entire nation in unemployment in spite of the jobs our governor claims to have brought to our state. Something doesn't add up. Oh, yeah, we're talking about a politician's claims, not statistics.
